Important: this is a structural optimization (qpdf), not image recompression — results vary a lot depending on the source file and are smaller for already-optimized or text-based PDFs than for scans with many redundant structures. No fixed percentage is promised.

How much smaller will my PDF file get?: It depends heavily on the source file. This is a structural optimization (qpdf), not image recompression — already-optimized or text-based PDFs shrink only a little, scans with many redundant structures shrink a lot more. No fixed percentage is promised.
Does this also compress images inside the PDF?: No. This tool does not recompress embedded images — it only optimizes the PDF's internal structure.
