Limitations
Works on PDFs with a real text layer and clearly aligned columns. Scanned PDFs need OCR first. Heavily ruled, nested, or multi-page tables may be incomplete or missed (see ADR-018).
FAQ
Yes. The downloaded CSV is UTF-8 with a BOM and opens in Excel, Numbers, and Google Sheets. Multiple tables appear as separate blocks in the same file.
Either there is no text layer (use OCR first), or the table isn't laid out as aligned text. In that case, PDF to Word can sometimes help as a workaround.
